Here are some of the customer complaints pertaining to the Freetime Unlimited issue.
One customer said that all of her kids Kindle fires got messed up. Two of them unregistered themselves and one won’t let them open anything like books, apps, videos, games. She deleted some files for one kid today because error prompted that her memory was full and this wouldn’t let her log on to Wi-Fi. Then they shut it off and when they turned it on it had wiped all 3 kids profiles however, it showed my profile but only factory preloaded content. It didn’t accepted her password so that she can unlock the parental controls. One of her kids uses her device to take notes and lot of her data is gone.
Another complained came like its Kindles got deregistered kindles this morning Kindle HD 8.9 & Kindle 7, both are for kids and they use Freetime .They said they re-registered but apps that uses Wi-Fi gives error saying no internet detected. If the fix is going to take over a week then their prime membership renewal is due in August should be free. Also freetime unlimited should be provided for free for a year due to inconvenience of losing all apps data and progress. In case of Kindle HD 10 it did not deregister but since they updated it last week their battery drains in less than an hour. Kindle was purchased less than 7 months ago and before update battery was fine.
Next complaint which came across was since Kindle fire was powered the profile on it says “owner” and it is requesting a pass code. It was working fine last night, but since it isn’t his profile he is not able to unlock it.
Are you wondering how to manage my Kindle then you can take the help of Amazon KindleSupport.
